Both Savanna and Syringa Lodge are reserved on an exclusive use basis only, whereby a single party has private use of the full lodge. We do not offer shared or non-exclusive accommodation options.
For parties staying for 7 nights or longer there is a weekly rate offered.

Terms & Conditions
Local Rates

We have special rates for South African residents, all year around. Please contact us for details.

Currency
​
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are exclusive of taxes (VAT 15%).
We will accept cash payments in Euro (€) and US Dollar ($) on your arrival. Please notify us during your booking process if this is your preferred method of payment.
Currency conversion will be calculated using the exchange rate on date of invoice.

Credit Card Payments
​
We accept credit card payments but there will be a surcharge of up to 4%.
We accept Master or Visa cards at the Reserve for extras.
Cash withdrawal facilities are not available at our Reserve. The nearest bank ATM is in the town of Vaalwater which is a 19km drive from our Reserve. Our staff can assist in arranging transport to Vaalwater should you require it.

Minimum Booking Policy
​
We have a minimum booking period of 2 nights throughout the year apart from the Christmas and New Year holiday period, during which we require a minimum booking period of 5 nights. This applies to bookings that fall within the following dates: 16th December to 10 January.
​
Booking Deposit
​
A 10% deposit is required to secure your reservation.
This deposit will be refunded (excluding bank changes) provided your reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Deposits should be paid by EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) or Credit Card (see Credit Card Payment terms above).
Transfers are to be made directly to our bank account - please contact us for banking details.
All transfers should be made nett of any bank charges.

Full & Final Invoice Payment
​
For guests paying via EFT or credit card, full and final payment is required 30 days prior to arrival.
Guests who would prefer to pay cash can do so on arrival at our Reserve. Please notify us if your payment option when finalising your reservation with us.
Bookings shall be subject to cancellation in the event that prepayment is not received as contracted.

Cancellation Policy
​
The 10% deposit will be refunded (excluding bank transfer changes) provided your reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Cancellations submitted 30 days prior to arrival will not be subject to cancellation fees.
15-29 days prior to arrival: 25% of total invoice cost will be due.
0-14 days prior to arrival: 50% of total invoice cost will be due.

All reservations, amendments or cancellations are only valid if advised and accepted in writing.
